No Excuses! Singing out against domestic violence
World premiere with Dr Kathleen McGuire, Christina Green and the No Excuses! Women’s Choir
No Excuses! is a creation by composers Christina Green and Kathleen McGuire, focusing upon family violence and domestic abuse, with real stories of struggle and inspirational resilience as shared by women from Melbourne’s western suburbs. At the Melbourne International Singers Festival, No Excuses! will be presented by Dr Kathleen McGuire, Christina Green and the No Excuses! Women’s Choir in the magnificent Melbourne Recital Centre.
Also featuring Divine Divas of Sunbury and Vox Harmony City of Launceston Choir
The concert features the world premiere of the full work of ‘No Excuses!’, singing out against domestic violence.
